How to send a takedown notice for content that infringes your copyright, how to counter-notify, and our repeat-infringer policy.

1. Sending a notice

Email legal@rhythmculture.app with: (a) the URL of the material on Rhythm Culture, (b) identification of the copyrighted work, (c) your contact details, (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them, and (f) your physical or electronic signature. Our registered agent details will be listed here once the U.S. Copyright Office registration is complete.

2. What happens next

Valid notices result in the material being hidden promptly and the uploader being told why, with a copy of the notice. Reports filed in-app with the "Copyright" reason enter the same queue.

3. Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to legal@rhythmculture.app with the URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your name and address, consent to federal court jurisdiction in your district (or where we are located, if outside the U.S.), and your signature. We forward it to the claimant and restore the content in 10–14 business days unless they file a court action.

4. Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive three valid notices in twelve months, or that we determine are dedicated to infringement, are terminated.
